We hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving and all your food dreams came true! In case you’re feeling slightly off, I’m just going to leave this Jalapeño Bloody Mary recipe right here. Hair of the dog and all that… And even if you’re fresh as a daisy, there’s nothing like a good Bloody Mary with that brunch!
Ingredients:
1 1⁄2 oz vodka
4 oz tomato juice
1⁄4 oz Worcestershire sauce
1⁄4 oz fresh lemon juice
2 dashes hot sauce
3 hot jalapeño slices
1/4 oz juice from the hot jalapeño slice jar (trust me, it’s good!)
1 pinch ground black pepper
1 pinch salt
Garnish:
Celery Stick, lemon or lime wedge, olives, parsley
Mix all ingredients together in a shaker, shake well and pour over ice. Serve with your garnish. If you have Bloody Mary mix handy at home, just use that and add the hot jalapeños, the jalapeño juice and the pepper. Usually the ratio is 3 parts Bloody Mary mix to 1 part vodka.
Bottoms up!
